TULSA, OK - December 12, 2005 -We've decided to make our network much more redundant and acquired a DS3 Connection from Wiltel now Level(3). In the next couple of months we will add a Cox Connection for additional redundancy and continue our multi-homed project. In mission critical Data Centers like ours no matter how small or large: network, power, and server redundancy is the key.


TULSA, OK - August 10th, 2004 - After spending 2 years in the home of Otis Surratt Jr. OCOSA has moved its data center to the Kennedy Building at 321 S. Boston. This move made a lot of sense, since we recently choose an internet backbone from TulsaConnnect. We will add a second DS3 in the future for total redundancy.

Our selection of backbone was not hard with a Local ISP in the same building it made it easy to choose. We chose to acquire 2 Redundant DS-3 Connections from a provider we feel is best and is not but 20ft away from our primary data center. We plan to upgrade our connections to a full 1Gbps in the feature.

We maintain one fully secure and reliable data center at this point. We plan to out grow this space in the next couple of years and then we will build a true disaster recovery location. We have many mission critical servers of our own in the data center which include but are not limited to DNS, WEB, MAIL, BILLING, and DATABASE servers.

Our data center is a total upgrade from our beginning in 2003. It is a comprehensive of 1000 square feet underground, with Liebert CRAC units fed by TRIGEN chilled water systems. Fire protection provided by a wet System. Dual APC UPS systems to provide with protection from power surges and down time in the event of a power failure. We have tile flooring that is serviced regularly with anti-static wax. Our facilities also features keypad lock systems for protection of mission critical servers and unauthorized access to data center.
