TULSA, OK - September 4th, 2004 - After spending 2 years in the home of Otis Surratt Jr. OCOSA has moved its sales and operations office to the Kennedy Building at 321 S. Boston. This move made a lot of sense, as our recently completed Data Center is housed within this building
The Kennedy Building, one of downtown Tulsa's most historic office buildings, is at the heart of the downtown underground tunnel system. The tunnels connect 8 office buildings, 3 covered parking garages, numerous eating establishments and the world-class Crowne Plaza Hotel. With a combination of the underground tunnels, above-ground building corridors and sky bridges, it is possible to go from 5th and Boston to 1st and Main without going outside.
A map of the underground tunnel system can be found here .
This is our first actual sales office in which we can perform operations. This move was a major upgrade from being held within a residential environment. With this new office we have access to our new data center as well. "It made perfect sense to put our sales / operations office and data center near each other to keep a close watch and manage our data center. It gives us the option to either manage it remotely or take a few steps to the data center." said Otis Surratt Jr., Director of Operations.
